Was pleased to have a painting accepted for this exhibition. I couldn’t go to the opening which was 3 weeks ago and finally managed to get to see the exhibition yesterday. I went with Mim who had 2 of her bowls on display and we took photos. We weren’t too thrilled with the hanging or display. My painting, ‘Didsbury Allotment’ is very detailed but was hung so low down that you had to crouch to see it. Mim’s bowls were separated by a tall vase which looked stupid. We swopped her bowls and their labels around. I wonder if anyone will notice!!
Still, it was good to be included and here I am in front of my painting.
