I’ve been painting in Parsonage Gardens in Didsbury this Summer. There is a beautiful wild flower meadow in the lower garden which makes a lovely change from formal planting. I sowed wild flower seeds on our allotment in the Spring but they didn’t germinate. I don’t know why. Maybe it was the rain or maybe they were pulled up along with the weeds!! Still everything else has done quite well despite a difficult season.
