Recently returned from a short holiday in Cheshire with my Mum and sister so have had to spend some time in the garden tidying it up. At last the sun is shining again. We have had the best year we can remember on the allotment. The vegetables and flowers have been fantastic. The soft fruit has been disappointing but the Victoria plum tree is groaning with fruit so there will be plenty of plum jam again this year.
