A friend who has an allotment on the same site as ours, came up with the idea of producing an Allotment Cookbook with favourite recipes from the other allotment holders. It proved to be rather slow getting the recipes so we decided to start off with a book of Soups. Graham is a very keen cook and wrote the ‘Coronation Street Cookbook’ several years ago so he has been sorting out the recipes and I have been drawing vegetables. Our friend Rosie, who is a Graphic designer, is going to design the book. It is a fun project, and if it turns out well we will do some more and, who knows, maybe there will be a series!!
