Happy New Year to you all. I have enjoyed Christmas and we went to our friends, John and Sue, to bring in the New Year. We had a great night of delicious food and good company.
They live near Bala and we stopped off en-route to visit a brass instrument repairer as Graham has decided to get his old euphonium repaired at last. When he goes back to pick it up I will go too as I’d love to paint the hills. They were lovely colours of rusts and reds and looked beautiful, even through the rain!
This is the view from their conservatory. I painted it one Autumn and have had it reproduced as a greeting card.
