I took part in a workshop with the Sedbergh Art Society recently where an artist was showing his concertina sketchbooks. I’ve been meaning to make one for a while and decided to do one of Main Street in Sedbergh. It is such an interesting road with architecture from different periods and decorative window displays.
I’ve really enjoyed doing it and have been spoilt for choice as there are shops, cafes, pubs, ginnels, window displays, a church architectural features and much more! I may have to do another one to include all the bits I’ve missed.
This is where I’m up to on one side of the sketchbook but it still needs a little more and some text.
