We’ve recently spent a few days in Scotland. We stayed in Leith for a couple of days and so visited art galleries in Edinburgh. We saw some wonderful Scottish art.
We then drove on the Crail where my Dad lived when he was a boy. I talked to people who now run the shop that used to be my Grandfather’s Draper’s shop and I also found my Grandma and Grandfather’s grave. The last time I’d been to Crail was in 1974 for my Grandma’s funeral. It was lovely to be back and to spend some time thinking about my family.
I enjoyed sitting by the harbour and I did some painting. Here’s one that I finished when I got home.
