Spring seems to be a long time coming. Snowdrops are in the gardens now and so that gives hope that it isn’t far away. I’ve managed to do some clearing in the garden and at last I’ve found some landscapers who will be able to repair tiles, relay paving stones and build a raised bed. So, I’m getting the garden ready for that.
I’ve been experimenting with using pastels in a more abstract way and working from the rivers near our cottage in Farfield Mill. I’ve been watching how the water flows and shines when the sun peeps through the trees and using brighter colours.
