You may have heard of the fatal fire that ripped through a flat on Main Street, Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria, in December. One man died in the blaze, and 20 people were displaced. Dozens of homes and businesses were affected and the road is still closed.
Due to the age and style of the buildings, many people were under insured and a disaster fund has been set up.
To support this, an auction of paintings will take place on April 24th and this painting of mine will be in it. I hope to get to the auction and hope it raises a lot of money.
